This 5 days Desert tour from Marrakech to Fes is a trip to discover Morocco’s Sahara and delve into the culture. During this itinerary of 5 days, we will start from Marrakech and travel towards the High Atlas. Firstly, we visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, known as the UNESCO Heritage Site. After that, we will continue our itinerary in Morocco towards Ouarzazate, and Rose Valley. By the evening, we will arrive at Dades Valley where we’ll spend the first night.
On the second day of our 5 days tour in Morocco, we will visit Dades Gorge. Known for its panoramic views and a photography spot. After that, we head to Todgha Gorge, and Merzouga Desert dunes. On the 3rd day, we will explore the desert region on a 4×4 tour. Moreover, we will ride camels in the afternoon, and spend a night in a luxury desert camp.

After breakfast, we begin our 5 days Desert tour from Marrakech to Fes, driving through the High Atlas Mountains. Here, we cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass and admire Berber villages. After 3-hour drive, we arrive at Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO-listed kasbah with stunning architecture. After exploring the kasbah, you take free time for lunch before continuing our itinerary.
Once everyone is ready, we continue our Morocco itinerary towards Ouarzazate, home to the famous Atlas Film Studios. By your choice, we will stop to explore the cinema Studio and Kasbah Taourirt. In the afternoon, we head towards Rose Valley, known for its fragrant fields. Finally, we arrive at Dades Valley, where we spend the first night in a charming Moroccan riad. The evening will be followed by Moroccan dinner and preparation for the next desert adventure.

Waking up to watch the sunrise is a must. After enjoying breakfast, we’ll drive from the Merzouga Desert to the Valley of Ziz, a lush palm grove. We’ll take a short coffee break here before continuing to the Middle Atlas Mountains.
Here, we’ll stop to see the Barbary Apes in the cedar forest. Next, we’ll head towards Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco. In the afternoon, we’ll reach our accommodation in Fes, followed by a delightful Moroccan dinner and a relaxing evening.
After breakfast, we dedicate the final day of our 5-day desert tour from Marrakech to exploring Fes. Our local guide will lead us to the Bou Inania Madrasa, celebrated for its intricate Islamic architecture. Next, we will visit the historic Al Quaraouiyine University, the world’s oldest continuously operating educational institution.
