1ˢᵗ Day: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Benhaddou – Skoura Oasis – Rose Valley – Dades Valley (6 hours drive, 270 km)

To begin with, after breakfast, we start the 3-day Morocco Desert Tour from Marrakech to Fes. Our journey begins with a drive through the stunning High Atlas Mountains, offering breathtaking views and multiple stops for photos. Along the way, this well-planned Morocco itinerary includes a visit to a traditional handmade Argan oil workshop, where you can learn about the fascinating oil production process.

After about three hours, we arrive at the iconic Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After breakfast, we begin the second day of the Morocco desert tour with a scenic drive to the Todra Valley. This part of the itinerary includes a visit to the Todra Gorge, where dramatic cliffs rise 300 meters, creating a serene and awe-inspiring atmosphere. You can take a leisurely walk along the river under these towering canyons.

Next, we head southeast, passing through charming Berber villages and serene landscapes dotted with Acacia trees. If time permits, we make a stop in Erfoud, known as the fossil capital of Morocco, to explore a fascinating fossil workshop.

As we approach Merzouga, the mesmerizing Sahara dunes come into view. Here, you’ll embark on a guided camel trekking experience, one of the highlights of this desert trip. Watch the sunset atop the golden dunes, a magical moment that sets the tone for your evening. Afterward, we head to a luxury desert camp where you’ll spend the night. Each tent is equipped with private amenities, including a toilet, hot shower, and air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable stay. A traditional Moroccan dinner completes the day.

3ʳᵈ Day: Merzouga Desert – Ziz Valley – Middle Atlas – Azrou Cedar Forest – Ifrane – Fes

For early risers, the day begins with a stunning sunrise over the Sahara dunes, a must-see moment of the Morocco desert tour. After breakfast, we leave the desert behind and drive toward the lush Ziz Valley, known for its thousands of palm trees and picturesque scenery.

Our Morocco itinerary takes us through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing by Midelt, the country’s apple capital. Along the way, we stop at the Azrou Cedar Forest, where you can observe playful Barbary macaques in their natural habitat.

As we continue, we visit Ifrane, often called the Switzerland of Morocco for its Alpine-style architecture and pristine charm. Finally, we arrive in Fes, where your driver will escort you to your accommodation, marking the end of this unforgettable 3-day desert trip from Marrakech to Fes.
