Day 1: Marrakech to Merzouga via the High Atlas Mountains

After breakfast, you will depart for your 2 days Desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, passing through the stunning High Atlas Mountains. Your first stop will be at the Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After your visit, you will continue towards the city of Ouarzazate.
Following lunch, you will drive along the Draa Valley, famous for its thousands of palm trees. In the afternoon, you’ll arrive at the golden dunes of the Merzouga Desert, where you will meet your private camel guide for an exhilarating camel trek to watch the breathtaking sunset from the top of the dunes.
Afterward, you will return by camel to your luxurious desert camp, where dinner will be served. Enjoy a restful overnight stay under the stars in the heart of the Sahara.
Day 2: Merzouga Desert to Marrakech via Todra Gorge and Rose Valley.
Since you are in the heart of the Sahara dunes, you might want to wake up to watch an amazing sunrise before the departure for the 2nd day.
After breakfast, you’ll depart from the Merzouga Desert and return to Marrakech. On your journey, you’ll pass through Erfoud and make a short visit to the impressive 300-meter Todra Gorge.
Following your time there, you’ll continue your trip to the Rose Valley, known for its stunning views of numerous kasbahs, and the Skoura Valley. Depending on the timing, you may also consider stopping at the Ouarzazate cinema studio to take some memorable photos before continuing on to Marrakech.
